Police
The Marshfield Police Department is composed of eleven full time Law Enforcement Officers, consisting of a Chief, Patrol Sergeant, Detective and 8 Patrol Officers. The department is committed to providing the nearly 8,000 residents of Marshfield a safe, secure, and friendly place to live, work, and play.
Fire
The Fire Protection District is funded by a tax base and provides services such as fire suppression, rescue, haz-mat, fire prevention, public education, and non-transport emergency medical services. As a fire department protecting both the City and District, it is with the best of intentions to serve the community and those needing services in a moment’s notice. The department responds to calls including EMS, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Motor Vehicle Fires, Brush Fires, Structure Fires, Gas Spills and Leaks, Commercial Fires and many more types of service calls.

The staff of the Webster County Health Unit works hard every day to preserve and protect public health in our community. The focus is on teaching, protecting and empowering people so they do not get sick. This way the Health Unit can protect individuals’ health and more effectively protect our entire community.
By providing vaccinations, offering nutrition education, ensuring clean water and safe food, and providing screening and testing services, the Health Unit is confident residents in the community will have an opportunity to make their lives healthier. Services are provided to all Webster County residents without discrimination and no one is denied services due to an inability to pay.
The Webster County Health Unit continually makes positive changes to serve the community, through outstanding customer service and commitment to the mission of a healthier and happier lifestyle for the residents of Webster County.
